Mujah & Chris' Dowry Ceremony | Atlanta

Mujah reached out to me via Instagram earlier this year about photography and I was so excited that she did! Before their wedding weekend, I got to meet her and her (now husband!) Chris at a coffee shop in Atlanta to discuss their wedding photography goals and learn more about their love journey. After that in-person meeting, I became even more excited to capture this special moment in their lives and I could see how God had brought these two together for such a great purpose. In alignment with their cultural backgrounds, the couple had a dowry ceremony the day before their “white” wedding or traditional American ceremony. Once the dowry ceremony took place, they were officially married. Sharing a few of my favorites from this ceremony below.
